Program Description |
Medical Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to demonstrate body parts and assist physicians in the diagnosis of medical abnormalities. The sonographer must have a complete understanding of human anatomy and a skilled, creative, self-directed approach for locating and demonstrating anatomy and pathology. |

Students earn a Diploma once they complete the PBIT –Ultrasound curriculum. |

Successful completion of all program required courses. |
Program Length |
Total program credits: 66. Didactic Hours are 1000 and the Clinical Internship Hours are 1002. The courses are sequential and involve practical experience in local hospitals,offices and clinics.
Classes are offered in blocks of four months and one week vacation in between every block.
